Pop! A hard push on the round marble sealing the mouth of the bottle making it drop into the chamber. The exhilarating whoosh of the carbon dioxide escaping the bottle follows and the cool, refreshing soda can be gulped down from the green or cobalt colored, glass or pet bottles.
The most important thing that comes to mind about the characteristics of golisoda is the marble. This bottle with marbles appeared in Japan around 1888, and until then it was plugged with cork. The marbles, the shape of the bottle, and the lovely light tone are also a practical design.
